BRAINTREE, NORWELL: The Peabody Companies (www.peabodyproperties.com), a group of award-winning property management and real estate firms, is pleased to announce that Marice Leahy of Norwell, Massachusetts, has been promoted to assistant controller.

In her new role, Leahy, who previously held the title of accounting manager, is responsible for the preparation of financial statements and knowledge of each asset within the Peabody Companies’ extensive portfolio. Working closely with the controller, she ensures oversight on all issues that impact the accounting/financial operations of the company.

Leahy is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts – Boston with a Bachelor of Arts in accounting.

She is “a boomerang” of the Peabody Companies, having joined in 2000 as a property accountant – a post she held for five years – and returning in 2012 as a property accountant before being promoted to senior accountant and then accounting manager in 2016.
