  • Mumbai: Shrikant Parashar has been recently appointed as the Sous Chef for Prego- the fun Italian dining restaurant at The Westin Mumbai Garden City . With the vast knowledge gained in his career he brings in new dimensions and techniques while he cooks up an Italian storm at Prego.

    At Prego he is greatly committed in preserving the authenticity and emphasizes on retaining the natural flavors in the delicious Italian cuisine while his guests indulge their hearty meal with a delighted face. Chef Shrikant aims to give guests a memorable experience through the delectable Italian cuisine. Chef Shrikant got enthralled to the delectable Italian cuisine during his visit to Italy where he experienced the traditional Italian kitchens and enhanced his culinary skills.

    Prior to joining The Westin Mumbai Garden City, Shrikant started his métier in 2007 as a Management Trainee in Pan India Food Solutions Pvt. Ltd. where he headed the trendy Italian restaurant Spaghetti Kitchen . Shrikant was a part of the Taj Lands coffee shop and soon took an opportunity with contemporary Italian Restaurant- Stax at Hyatt Regency Mumbai . He had the chance to be a part of the pre-opening team of Flying Elephant in Park Hyatt Chennai where he got inspired by the authenticity in sous vide cooking. Chef Parashar is highly motivated by Chef Stig Drageide, Chef Ajay Chopra and Chef Grzegorz Odolak and would work to achieve and acquire the immaculate cooking & perfection, to curate the perfect taste.
