  • _“Mental health is not a destination, but a process. It’s about how you drive, not where you’re going.”_*

The more we look around us, the more we can note that the planet is being engulfed by negativity’s grasp. Mental health programs are a field of healthcare that has laggards and is often ignored in terms of significance. And, with the government moving to slash financial resources for people dealing with and struggling with mental health problems as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, it’s become even more important to raise awareness about approaches that can help in support these services. The growth and expansion of self-help and mental health doctors has already begun to show the effect they can have on personal development and the treatment given in therapy and counseling, but there is still a long way to go. The availability of mental-healthcare providers is one of the lowest per capita in the world, although there are some well-known psychologists in the world who are doing all they can to raise awareness about the importance of mental health.Nabhit Kapur, a globally awarded ambassador for mental health tops this list of psychologists.

Kapur is a well-known psychologist who examines natural and unusual mental states, perceptual, behavioral, emotional, and social processes and actions by experimenting with, as well as studying, understanding, and documenting how people communicate with one another and their surroundings. He is also a PsychoPreneur, author, TEDx speaker, and internationally recognized ambassador for mental health and peace, having received numerous recognitions including the “*Order of Kentucky colonel*” and “Eminent peace ambassador” by *international association of world peace advocates* . In 2015, he Started working with many NGOs, hospitals and schools to gain experience and training which led him to establishment “PeacfulMind Foundation” (PMF) a global organisation registered with the United Nations (U.N.) Global Compact as well. The foundation provides a range of educational programs and supports community service for mental health. Their outreach has helped many people all over the world. In the last three years, Kapur has taught over tens of thousands of children how to preserve and balance their mental health. His knowledge of mental health and psychological well-being has proved to be beneficial not only to Indians but also to people all around the globe. He has accomplished ground-breaking work in Africa in a short period of time. He has been able to build a strong link in Africa over the last couple of years through his engagement on mental health issues aimed at reducing societal taboos and fostering healthy mental health in community.
