Upgradation & Beautification of Radhakrishna Temple ,Sankhali, Goa

Sankhali : The foundation stone was laid on Friday (22nd Feb) for Goa Tourism projects for upgradation & beautification of Radhakrishna Temple in Sankhali by Hon’ble Speaker,Goa Legislative Assembly & Mla , Sankhali 
Constituency, Dr.Pramod Sawant along with the Hon’ble Minister for Tourism, Mr. Manohar Ajgaonkar
Also present were Chairperson, Sankhali Muncipality, Mr. Dharmesh Saglani, Ward Councillor, Mr. Dayanand Boryekar , President ,Radhakrishna Devasthan, Mr. Anil Kanekar, officials of Goa Tourism and others.
The Rs 5.03 crore tourism infrastructure development projects at Radhakrishna temple and Vitthal temple will be carried out by Goa Tourism Development Corporation.
The development work proposed at Radhakrishna temple is to develop the outer premises by providing facilities such as pavers ,benches ,compound wall, railing, drinking water facility, dustbins, landscaping, illumination etc in an area of 3500 Sqms to make it more tourist friendly where as the development work proposed at Vitthal temple is the paving and illumination to be done in an area of 2700 Sqms.
