  • US President Donald Trump & Kim Jong Un conclude historic summit

    The historic meeting took place in Singapore’s Sentosa Island at the Capella hotel.

    Addressing a press conference after meeting Kim Jong Un in Singapore, US  President Donald Trump said that sanctions against North Korea will continue till an assesment of the extent of denuclearisation is completed.He also said that the Kim agreed to destroy a missile engine testing site during the signing even though it wasn’t a part of the Agreement.

    President Trump said that the Korean conflict will end soon. He said that Kim will be remembered as a leader who ushered in a new era for his people.President Donald Trump said that both nations are ready to change the world. He thanked Singapore for hosting the Summit and congratulated Kim Jong Un for taking this bold, historic step.

    Earlier in the day, Donald Trump and Kim Jong Un made history by becoming the first sitting US and North Korean leaders to meet and hold formal talks. Besides, one-on-meeting, the leaders also held delegation level talks followed by a working lunch.

    Addressing media persons, Donald Trump said that he is honoured to have meeting with Kim.

    US President Donald Trump said that the two nations have signed a very comprehensive documents for peace and tranquility in the world.

    Trump said one-on-one meeting with Kim Jong Un was ‘very, very good’.

    He added they have an ‘excellent relationship’ and invited Kim Jong Un to visit While House.

    On the question of denuclearisation of North Korea, Trump said that it will start very soon.

    The historic meeting took place in Singapore’s Sentosa Island at the Capella hotel.

    The two leaders shook hands firmly when they met and the world witnessed the meeting through a host of media gathered there. The one-on-one meeting was held for approximately 48 minutes.

    After one-on-one meeting, Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un then walked together along the balcony for the picture perfect handshake.

    President Trump described Kim Jong un as a worthy negotiator nad a leader who loves his people.Before the signing of  between the two countries, the two leaders sat down for a working lunch.While heading for  agreement signing Trump said that meeting with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un went ‘better than anybody could have expected.”

    The US president  also said that that the meeting was ‘going great”.
