  • Bangalore : The valley of kings Hampi excited me the most Director of Vishnu Manchu starrer ‘Doosukeltha’ Veeru Manchu-Vishnu-Lavanya-Tripathia-Doosukelatha-Telugu-Movie-Stills-1Potla said who toured several southern parts of the country to shoot an important sequence of the film.

We waded through the hundreds of hectares of land which is a haven for a wide range of wildlife and selected a spot to capture the essence of a scene in the film. Doosukeltha film was shot in multi locations including few exotic locations in Slovenia.

Speaking about the experience while shooting the film at Hampi the director said I was awed by the thousands of ruins left from the Vijayanagara. Having arrived in Hampi in the early morning and then exploring the surrounding areas in a jeep, I also experienced the spiritual side of this majestic town known for its majestic temples.

One of the most captivating places was the Hanuman temple.  It’s set at a high elevation, at the top of 700+ steps so it’s a perfect place to look out onto the vast landscape and to catch a sunrise or sunset.  The ruins are what really make Hampi so magical.  It’s almost incomprehensible to understand the engineering, sophistication and level of commitment these ancient structures are embedded with.

The action comedy entertainer ‘Doosukeltha’ is directed by Veeru Potla. Andhala Rakshasi fame Lavanya is the leading lady.

The movie has stunning climax action scene choreographed by Thailand action director Kecha who was introduced to Indian Movies by Vishnu Manchu with his film ‘Saleem’. Since then Kecha has choreographed a lot of movies which stars many leading hero’s in telugu film industry.
