Germany: Vogel Business Media India Private Limited: that is the name of the new publishing company which Vogel Business Media is setting up in Mumbai. By branching out into India, Vogel – the largest German specialist publisher for trade and industry – is focusing even more strongly on the global markets and the world’s growth regions, and expanding its international presence. “Our company has a good, long tradition of international business involvement. For the last 15 years we have been conducting business in Asia as one of the first publishing companies in China,” points out Stefan Rühling, CEO of Vogel Business Media. “By moving into India, we are, above all, supporting German industry on its way into a dynamic, strong-growth market of the future that is bursting with potential.”

At the same time, Vogel has brought out its first issue of “PROCESS India”. As a specialist media brand name in the process industry, PROCESS has a global footing, appearing in a wide variety of languages and different countries.

“Rolling out a brand name philosophy such as PROCESS will only work if you have the right people working together with total commitment and complete confidence in each other. That is most definitely the case here. Everything has worked extremely well between us, Jens Otte, our consultant with excellent knowledge of the trade media market in India and Paresh Navani, the new company’s managing director, and all its employees,” comments Gerd Kielburger, the publisher in charge of PROCESS, on the launch of PROCESS India. “The first issue had a very good reception at the Chemtech trade fair in Mumbai which means we have achieved the first of our goals. We are now facing the exciting challenge of expanding the company’s presence on the Indian market, but I’m very confident of its further success, given the present core team of employees.

Together with the Nuremberg trade fair company, Vogel Business Media already successfully staged the international “BulkSolidsIndia” trade fair with an accompanying exhibition in Mumbai in April last year. There will be a much bigger exhibition at this year’s event, “Storing, Handling and Processing of Bulk Solids and Powder”, staged in Mumbai for the 2nd time from 6-8 April 2011.
