  • Zeon Lifesciences introduces an Animal Welfare Practices Program as part of its CSR initiatives

    New Delhi: Zeon Lifesciences, India’s leading nutraceutical manufacturer, today announced that it has extended a sum of INR twelve lacs to aid Shri Mataji Gauvansh Sewa Sansthan, Uttar Pradesh, as a part of the former’s Animal Welfare Practices programme under its CSR initiatives. The objective of the donation is to ensure the welfare and safety of cows, calves, bulls, and gauvansh.

    The donation falls under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme that includes aiding the Gaushala to further protect and provide the right treatment to the injured animals and providing them with safe shelters etc.

    “Donation is not only a duty but also a joy, “said Mr. Suresh Garg, Founder, Zeon Lifesciences.” He further stated, “Our primary objective is to save the cows, and therefore, we have taken this initiative to work towards the welfare of cows, bulls, and calves. We have several objectives for our cattle welfare initiative, but one of them is to enhance the livelihoods of communities by improving cattle productivity. We are also looking forward to more such CSR activities in the near future”.

    The company has also announced a host of initiatives with a focus on employee care, safety, and well-being. Apart from a dedicated COVID-19 insurance policy, vaccination sponsorship and onsite vaccination camps, Zeon Lifesciences has also hosted a 24X7 platform for virtual medical teleconsultation and psychological counselling for its employees. This is complemented by virtual engagement activities to connect with its employees during tough times.
