  • New Delhi: Air Chief Marshall PV Naik will flag-off The 45th Statesman Vintage & Classic Car Rally on Sunday, February 13th, 2011 at the majestic building of Statesman House in New Delhi at 9 am. A record 130 entries have been received for this year,s rally which is truly India,s biggest and most popular vintage sporting events. These rare beauties will travel between Delhi and Greater Noida before returning to Modern School, Barakhamba Road for prize distribution. The sturdy Fords, little Austins, Bentleys, Lagondas, Minnervas, majestic Rolls Royce, stylish Chevrolets, Buicks & Jaguars, a pleasing 1914 John Morris, the erstwhile Nizam of Hyderabad,s fire engine are some of the timeless machines participating in this year’s rally, drawing passionate heritage motorists from across India.

    This Statesman Vintage Rally is seen as the Mecca of all vintage rallies in the Indian sub-continent and this year the legendary event has grown even bigger with the maximum number of vintage, classic and post war car entries ever, with 21 first time entrants,” saidRahul Mittra, CEO Brandsmith, leading brand promotions Company and the exclusive promotions & event partner of this coveted annual event since 2004. Indian Oil, Heritage Motoring Club of India, Titus & Co, Bank of India, Religare, Ceres Juices amongst other top brands have partnered along with Brandsmith for making the 45th Statesman vintage rally a memorable event, like the yesteryears.
