Thousands of people have been evacuated from Wakefield town in New Zealand as firefighters continue to deal with a massive blaze in South Island.
As the wildfire entered its sixth day today, a state of emergency was declared in the district of Tasman. Twenty-three helicopters and two planes have been deployed to tackle the blaze.
The meteorological department said, dry weather will continue this week, making it more challenging to douse the fire.
