Bengaluru : Celebrating World Mental Health Day, VerSe Innovation has unveiled the Mental Health Campaign Collective, a pioneering initiative dedicated to advancing mental health awareness and well-being in India. MHCC was born as an end goal of the ‘There For You’ campaign, which ran from September 10th to October 10th, in observance of this year’s World Mental Health Day.
The ‘There For You’ campaign was spearheaded by VerSe Changemakers, the purpose driven social impact content program of VerSe Innovation, in collaboration with Fortis National Mental Health Program, AVPN, and MASH Project Foundation. The campaign’s central objective was to destigmatize mental health and encourage open conversation on the critical topic. Over the course of the campaign, expert panels, influential thought-leadership posts, and grassroot stories were shared on VerSe’s platforms, Dailyhunt and Josh as well on OneIndia, the partner platform, leveraging content to promote a deeper understanding of mental health.
Building on the success of the ‘There For You’ campaign, MHCC will onboard partners within the community, aimed at uniting efforts, sharing knowledge, and fostering collaboration to address India’s complex mental health challenges. MHCC will empower mental health practitioners, advocate for increased societal focus on mental health, and strive to positively impact the lives of Indians through a holistic approach.
Umang Bedi, Co-Founder, VerSe Innovation, said, “We are thrilled to announce the launch of the Mental Health Campaign Collective (MHCC) on this World Mental Health Day. At VerSe Innovation, we firmly believe in the power of collective action to drive positive change. The ‘There For You’ campaign was just the beginning, and MHCC represents our commitment to furthering the cause of mental health awareness and well-being in India. Through MHCC, we aim to unite organisations focused on mental health awareness, sharing knowledge, and advocating for increased societal focus on the crucial issue. Together, we can collectively create a meaningful impact in the lives of those in need.”
In today’s world, the importance of mental well-being is increasingly evident. Initiatives like MHCC offer a hopeful approach, bringing together collective efforts to address mental health challenges.
