K M Mani , the top leader of Kerala Congress (M), is known as ” Mani sir ” among his party workers . Born in Central Travancore or Central Mani holds the record of having presented the maximum number of budgets (thirteen) in the Kerala Legislative Assembly as Finance Minister. He is also the longest-serving member of Kerala Assembly. Mani also holds the credit of serving the longest-term in the government of Kerala as a minister. He has been representing Pala legislative constituency since its inception in 1964, without a break.
