In Nepal, for the first time, a cabinet meeting was held through video conferencing.

Prime Minister K P Sharma Oli took part in the meeting from Singapore through video conferencing today. He is currently in Singapore for his treatment. In a tweet Mr Oli said that first time it became possible to participate in a cabinet meeting through telepresence. Prime Minister Oli thanked his all cabinet colleagues, officials and staff of Prime Minister’s Office and technology and technicians for making it possible.
