ResQwalk is a free mobile app by Best Friends Animal Society that allows users to raise money for animal shelters across the U.S. every time they go walking. For every kilometer covered, a donation is made thanks to sponsorship by dog supplements company Front Of The Pack.

The app tracks the distance walked, and each month Front of the Pack provides generous sponsorship to be shared across the shelters according to the distances walked. To date, over 240,000 users have downloaded the app. Each day over 30,000 users cover an average of 15,000 kilometers, so far raising almost $30,000.

Across the U.S. last year, over 2.35 million lives were saved at animal shelters. But still 625,000 pets entered shelters and didn’t make it out simply because they had no safe place to call home. Front Of The Pack is partnering with Best Friends Animal Society to help with its mission to make every shelter no-kill by 2025.
