Palo Alto, California: The Anita Borg Institute for Women and Technology has partnered with the India Semiconductor Association (ISA) to provide a new track at the Grace Hopper Celebration of Women in Computing India, December 14-16, 2011 at the KTPO Trade Centre, Bangalore, India. ISA is the premier trade body representing the Indian Electronic System Design and Manufacturing (ESDM) industry and has represented it since 2005. ISA is committed towards building global awareness for the Indian ESDM industry and supporting its growth through focused initiatives in developing the ecosystem.

The ISA session on Women in Technology – Semiconductor, Systems and Electronics will take place on Thursday, December 15th and features a panel discussion on “Opportunities and Growth in the Semiconductor industry.” Eminent panelists from ISA member companies will share their views on the opportunities and growth potential in the semiconductor industry. The panel will also touch upon the innovation that lies ahead and challenges faced.
