New Delhi : The students of Vivekananda School of Journalism and Mass Communication, Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies recently organised an art exhibit for the students to come together and showcase their talent. The event featured both visual & performing arts and included a photo exhibition, art and painting exhibit, theatre performances, music and singing, and other fun filled activities like face painting. The exhibit was held in Vivekananda Hall, in Block B of the VIPS campus, from 11:00 am to 3:00pm.

 

The honourable guest Mr. Suporana Choudhary, Founder English Literary Association VIT said “Only two things can change the world and make it a better place, one is politics and the other is art”.  He also shared a story with students to explain the importance of art in life and how art can influence an individual’s life.

 

The artists who are also the students of journalism and mass communication put their best foot forward and used various forms of art to give human expressionism, a new meaning. The exhibition showcased kaleidoscopic abstracts, aesthetic photographs, soulful music, soothing voices and powerful theatre performances. The exhibition panned out to be the perfect platform for the artists as they created a soul-soothing environment through their art and communicated a myriad of emotions and messages to the audience.
