New Delhi: Ashiana Housing Ltd., one of the fastest growing mid sized Real Estate Company today announced its financial results for the third quarter ending 31st December, 2010. In its board meeting, the company reported a healthy increase of 23% in Profit after tax (PAT) to 7.24 crores from 5.87 Crores in the same period of the previous year. The consolidated revenue for 9 months ended on 31st December 2010 is Rs. 98.64 crores 22% higher than corresponding period in the last fiscal. The company recorded an Equivalent Area Constructed of 3.17 lakhs sq. ft. for the third quarter as compared to the 2.36 lakhs sq. ft. previous quarter.

Commenting on the recent developments and company’s performance, Mr. Vishal Gupta, Managing Director, Ashiana Housing Ltd. said, “The third quarter has shown satisfactory results with growth in all key parameters. Construction has also started picking up momentum with 34% QoQ growth in Equivalent Area constructed. Area Booked also increased substantially in the last nine months we have revised the targets from 12 to 12.5 lakhs sq. ft. of bookings for the year. ”

The Company recorded bookings of 9.71 lakhs square feet in the first three quarters of the fiscal year as compared to the 4.55 lakhs square feet of bookings in the corresponding period last year. In the last quarter, Ashiana handed over the possession of Amarbagh Phase II, Jodhpur, Group Housing and launched Aangan EWS-LIG and Aangan Plaza, Bhiwadi.
