  • Bhaichung Bhutia unveils the UEFA EURO 2012(tm) Trophy in Mumbai

    Mumbai : Carlsberg India Pvt Ltd (CIPL), for the first time ever, has brought the UEFA EURO 2012™ Trophy to fans across India. The Trophy was showcased in Mumbai with glitz and glamour at the Inorbit Mall, Malad West, Mumbai for the fans to get a ‘once in a lifetime’ experience.

    For almost a quarter of a century, Carlsberg has been the official sponsor of the UEFA European Championships (EURO) and, in 2012 Carlsberg continues this successful partnership. To further strengthen its reputation as one most committed to football in the world, Carlsberg India brought the UEFA EURO 2012™ Trophy to offer a unique experience to football followers across India.

    To further add to the excitement of the EURO enthusiasm, Carlsberg India has planned various initiatives to engage with the football lovers and supporters across the nation. Carlsberg India will be initiating programs that will give fans from India an opportunity to travel to Poland and Ukraine and be a part of the UEFA EURO experience by being at the quarter finals. Also, one lucky winner will get a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to present the ‘Carlsberg Man of the Match Award’ at the Semi Final in Poland.

    During the next couple of months Carlsberg India will announce more opportunities for football fans across India to experience the UEFA EURO magic. This year, the tournament will be held for the first time in Eastern Europe – in the exciting growth markets of Poland and Ukraine from June 8-July 1, 2012.
