    About the book:

When we say ‘blue’, we imagine sorrow and sadness, as though blue is all negative. A clear sky is a symbol of hope, but isn’t it all blue? Then why is it, that when we see a little blue in ourselves, we start to lose hope?

Maybe that blue is a part of you. When you are your happiest, the blue shines. When you are low, the blue glows. And if you’re lost in the dark, maybe you could just follow the soft glow of your blue to find your way back.

    Motivation for the book:

“Books have the power to change our lives forever. They transport us to other worlds, or simply leave a huge impact.  For me, they came whenever I needed an escape, needed a change or needed inspiration. And so, I decided it was time I returned the favour. I’ve seen many people go through tough times in solitude, feeling as though they aren’t worthy of getting help or capable of finding their way back. I firmly believe that everybody has a piece buried in them that shines when they need it to. Books help you find that glow, and I hope that my book “Even The Skies Are Blue” can be one such, that gives people courage and inspiration when they need it. Through a story, told through a blend of poetry and prose, of a girl who finds her glow and the strength to overcome past trauma, I aspire to inspire anybody who needs the reassurance that they can make it too”
