  • Book Launch: ‘Path of the Swan’ by Charu Singh at The Taj Mahal Hotel, New Delhi

    New Delhi: In its constant endeavor to provide unique and meaningful experiences to its patrons, The Taj Mahal Hotel, New Delhi in association with Hachette India launched the book – Najeeb Jung and Charu Singh at the Taj Mahal Hotel, New Delhi‘Path of the Swan, The Maitreya Chronicles: Part I’ authored by Charu Singh over a cocktail evening.

    The book launch witnessed the presence of a power-packed audience of over 250 guests which included some prominent guests like Ustad Amjad Ali Khan and Ayaan Ali Khan, Kapil and Romi Dev, Dilip and Devi Cherian, Anuja Chauhan, Shivani Wazir Pasrich, Priya Paul amongst other renowned politicians and diplomats. The evening witnessed a discussion on the book with Vikram Chandra and Charu Singh.

    Drawing richly from the vast pantheon of otherworldly beings that populate the myths of the Mahayana school of Buddhism, Path of the Swan, the first part of the surreally beautiful Tibetan-Buddhist fantasy series, The Maitreya Chronicles is a mesmerizing saga of the battle between celestials and dark forces, and the descent of the celestials to Earth.

    Speaking on the occasion, Satyajeet Krishnan, General Manager, The Taj Mahal Hotel, New Delhi said, “The Taj Mahal Hotel is delighted to be associated with Hachette India to launch ‘Path of the Swan.’ A first of its kind book, it is the first part of the magnificent Tibetan-Buddhist fantasy series, The Maitreya Chronicles, which is sure to captivate book lovers with its distinct flavor.”
