  • Budding designers of Satyam Fashion Institute showcased Women Power through Design Show ‘Triptych 2018’

    New Delhi: Graduating designers of Satyam Fashion Institute celebrated the true spirit of womanhood through Design Show ‘TRIPTYCH 2018’ at NCUI Auditorium, Siri Fort, New Delhi. 30 budding designers from specialisations – Fashion Design, Textile Design and Lifestyle Accessories showcased their exclusive collection in 14 theme based sequences gracefully choreographed by Rachana Sikka.  On this wonderful occasion Satyam Fashion Institute has also launched MEDIA EDUCATION to female students to meet the demand of the emerging new era and to provide students a platform where they can showcase their talent.

    The Satyam Fashion Institute students captivated the audience with their creative imagination on the mixture of scintillating colors, fabrics and textures in the unique and appealing 14 themes including Arunaya, Revival of Faded Art, Swaदेसी “Life Originates Here”, Evolution of Time, Art Meets Fashion Tomorrow Awaits, Out Of The Woods, Klassikos Hudoom, Naturalistic Glow, Enchant, Gehna, Fiction, Azzem and Blazing.

    Ms. Manjulika Gautam, Director General, SFI said, “I’m really glad to see my student’s talent in selection of colors and fabrics and creativity in collaborating them and presenting the master pieces. I hope the junior students will learn and do well in future. I hope everybody enjoyed it.  Our fashion shows and events encourage our women students to realize their true worth and potential by engaging them in various themes.”

    Speaking on the occasion Dr. Mitali C. Goswami, principal, Satyam Fashion Institute said” The students are so imaginative and have presented vivid colors and fabulous work in their collection. With the modern and cultural revolutions of fashion concept have undergone a tremendous change; fashion now is a perfect design, a technology, a science to be studied and to be communicated. I am really proud to see my students so confident, self dependent and self conscious, which will definitely help them to mark their presence in the global revolution of their own strength and carve a niche for them.”

    Renowned designers and eminent industry persons graced the occasion as Guests of Honour and felicitated all the award winners of the day. The glamour extravaganza was witnessed by top Designers like Sonia Jetleey, Anjali Sahni, Chhaya Mehrotra, Ankita Chowdhry, Rosy Alhuwalia, Manish Tripathi with his spouse Ms. India finalist 2013 & Ms Congeniality Aditi Mishra. For the glittering evening other eminent guests from the industry were Mr R.K Srivastava Mr R.K Passi, Umesh Gaur, Mr Himmendra Gupta, Ms Goriya Sabharwal,  Mr Rahul Shrivastav, Mr Gagan Sahni Director, Mr Aditya Aggarwal, Mr Sudhir Malik, Mr Rajeev Bansal, Mr. Kaushik Sheel, Ms Vandana Jadwani, Mr  Piyush Srivastava, Ms Deepa Srivastava, Mr Sanjay Aggarwal, Ms. Payal Arora and Mr. Akshay Arora

    The Collection of the graduating designers denoted absolute beauty, purity, clarity and royalty. They experimented with a variety of materials to bring life to their designs using both traditional handicraft techniques and progressive technology. They challenged the line and idea of design, inspired by the past and developed ways to transform the future with the use of new and old technologies. The ramp glittered with diverse segments of collections and concepts decoded accurately for today’s woman in vivid and muted shades to unfurl the inner beauty of women. Some silhouette brought out the splendor of women very subtly representing hope, power, growth and energy whereas others exuded a darkly sensual femininity. The audience was enthralled with the artistic imagination of the designers who worked with assortment of colors and fabrics in the unique and fascinating themes.

    To meet the demand of the emerging new era and to provide students a platform where they can showcase their talent, Satyam Fashion Institute has launched MEDIA EDUCATION to female students. The objective of this course is to disseminate News Values, Media Laws and Ethics etc. among students. The scope of Media and Mass Communication education has been widening day by day. As the fourth pillar of democracy along with judiciary, executive and legislature, media of today has an all embracing role to act against the injustice, oppression, misdeeds and partiality of our society. Media acts as watchdog to protect public interest and create public awareness.
