BuddyBits, today, released the trailer of their first ever original web-series ‘The Lineup’. BuddyBits had earlier announced the show’s launch date along with its plan of venturing into the world of storytelling via original creations. ‘The Lineup’ will start streaming exclusively on BuddyBits from 26^th February, 2021.

As the trailer suggests, ‘The Lineup’  is a story of poems and poets. It is a story that explores the words behind a poem and the world behind its poets. The trailer initially captures Shayantan Roy played by Utsav Sarkar who is an aspiring spoken word poet caught between having a stable job and attempting to make it big in the world of poetry. It parallely shows many other exciting characters entangled in the world of poetry and dealing with their own personal and professional struggles. The trailer itself feels like a short poem with its share of rhymes, emotions, and glimpses of hope. From the look of it, ‘The Lineup’ seems to be a story that has never been told before.

For the uninitiated, The Lineup is BuddyBits’ first original creation. The show is directed by Anushka Parashar and is written by Utsav Sarkar, who also happens to be the lead character of the show – Shayantan Roy. Ayushi Gupta is playing the role of another lead character in the show. It also stars Prasad Mali, Sumit Sanghamitra, and Ayush Nathani in pivotal roles. The show will launch on 26^th of February exclusively on BuddyBits.
