  • Campaigning picks for Delhi Assembly polls

    kkkkCampaigning for the Delhi assembly elections is picking up with Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal holding a road show on Tuesday.

    Arvind Kejriwal was to file his nomination papers for the Delhi elections on Tuesday but now he will file his papers on Wednesday following which a clash of personalities appears to be in the making in the high-stakes battle for Delhi.

    Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal has challenged the BJP’s CM candidate Kiran Bedi to a public debate. Bedi accepted the challenge, but said she will debate him “on the floor of the house.”

    Congress leader Ajay Maken also said he is ready for a public debate with rival political parties adding that there should be a structured debate and it should be left on the people of Delhi to make a comparative assessment.

    Meanwhile, the Election Commission of India has issued a notice to Arvind Kejriwal for alleged violation of model code of conduct.
