  • CapitalVia announced second phase India Ideathon result

    New Delhi : CapitalVia Global Research Limited’s India Ideathon completed its second phase. India Ideathon, which opened on October 5 to honour fresh and innovative business ideas, proved to be a huge platform for aspiring entrepreneurs. Mr. Rohit Gadia, CEO, CapitalVia.2A competitive forum with a jury of the best industry representatives, India Ideathon has chosen 18 most promising ideas from among many responses received from across India. The jury, which comprised of prominent industry representatives, declared the second Phase results on May 1st. The competition for the first Phase ended on March 23rd.

    While the best idea in this Phase will get a cash prize of Rs 1 lakh and qualify for the next round, the winner might bag seed funding of Rs 25 lakh to kick-start his business. The first and second runners-ups will win Rs 50,000 and Rs 25,000, respectively, while the rest will get cash prizes and certificates of appreciation.

    Top 18 ideas are selected from state like Delhi, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, Karnataka, West Bengal and Rajasthan. All 18 best ideas have been displayed on the India Ideathon website, Out of top eighteen winners, one winner will qualify for Phase III and that would be a seed funding phase. CapitalVia will arrange for a seed funding of INR 25 Lacs (INR Twenty Five Lacs only) to jumpstart the project, subject to terms and conditions fulfilled by the participant. Since, this is a seed funding phase that CapitalVia will arrange for the winner, it will be governed by the legal and financial terms & conditions.

    Initiated in partnership with Valueleaf, the campaign aims to provide aspiring entrepreneurs with a platform and help turn their ideas into reality.
