Eros Now’s recently released web series ‘Smoke’ had created a lot of buzz for its strong star cast. Set in the underbelly of Goa, the crime drama features Bollywood actress  Kalki Koechlin, Mandira Bedi, Jim Sarbh, Amit Sial, Gulshan Devaiah, Satyadeep Mishra, Neil Bhoopalam and Prakash Belawadi.

Interestingly, the eleven episodes series was also premiered at the 2018 Cannes film festival. Revolving around the lives and interactions of 8 to 10 characters, it talks about greed and power.

Recently, the producers threw a small bash to celebrate the success of the web-series. The event was also graced by popular names like Sheban Azim, Aishwarya Sakhuja, Sharad Kelkar and Sharad Tripathi.

Talking about her experience Kalki says, “It was amazing to be a part of Smoke. The story is complex, but it is so informative it gives the insights of the whole drug and mafia scenario. The story is not typically about the drug addicts but it’s about the business, how the money comes in and where it goes. It is different and I am really very happy.”

 The series is produced by Hamari Film Company while the sound is given by Karsh Kale.
