  • Six China Sourcing Fairs are to be concurrently held in Mumbai on November 23-25, 2011 at Bombay Exhibition Centre, Goregaon featuring a host of latest products from Greater China and other Asian countries. The six trade Fairs comprise of various categories covering Electronics & Components, Security Products, Home Products, Gifts & Premiums, Hardware & Building Materials and Bathroom Products, making this the largest Greater China products trade exhibition of its kind in India. Through this platform, Indian buyers can source directly from competitive suppliers from Greater China. The trade fairs are managed by Pico Event Management under license from Global Sources .

    Spokesperson of China Sourcing Fairs, Mr Tommy Wong said, “Bilateral Trade between India & China is growing rapidly and Indian buyers are keen to source quality products from China. To meet this growing demand, the Fairs cover a wide selection of products, which include electronics & components, hardware and building materials, security products, home products, gifts and premiums as well as bathroom products.

    Last year, around 10,000 buyers comprised of importers, retailers, wholesalers, distributors and other volume buyers attended the event. It is expected that this year’s Fairs will attract similar kinds of visitors and a number of co-operations and large-scale business deals are expected to conclude during the three days event.

    Trade volumes between India and China reached US $ 61.7 billion in 2010 and it is anticipated to reach US $ 100 billion by 2015. China is India’s largest import trading partner, and imports have grown by more than 50 percent annually for the last three consecutive years.
