The love and affection we received at NYCC 2013 shows that Indian comics and merchandise are not only accepted but liked by international audiences as well. We plan to participate in more such events and continue to showcase Indian Comics. “

Never did the comics’ community in India have a platform where they could meet and interact.

A few years back, to avoid the costly expense of traveling abroad to a comic convention, a group of relatively young people in Delhi decided to create one on their own in their home city. With that simple mission, Comic Con India was formed in 2011 and has now grown to multiple events across the country.

Comic Con India is a unique event celebrating the illustrated medium, which brings together the whole comics industry and related fields such as Merchandise, Toys, Games, Films and Animation, along with fans of this culture from all age groups.
