Gujarat : The Gujarat Assembly was adjourned on Friday for an hour as Congress MLAs stalled the proceedings for the third consecutive day.

They were seeking dismissal of two BJP MLAs accused of watching obscene content in the House.

As soon as the question hour began Congress MLAs began slogan shouting and left their seats and gathered near the Speaker’s podium.

They did not stop shouting despite repeated requests made by the Speaker to pacify them.

When members did not relent for five minutes, the Speaker Ganpat Vasava adjourned the house till the end of Question Hour.

When the House resumed again, the din continued and the speaker ordered suspension of the Congress MLAs from the House for another day.

For the last two days also they were suspended for not allowing the proceedings.
