Countdown for launch of IRNSS-1G begins

The countdown for the launch of seventh and final navigation satellite IRNSS-1G began on Tuesday at 9:20 AM at Sriharikota.
The navigation satellite will be launched on Thursday on board India’s versatile launch vehicle PSLV C33.
The IRNSS 1G will complete the number of fleets in space for India to establish its own reliable navigation satellite system.
As part of the navigation system, other six satellites have already begun functioning.
