True to trade expectations Venky starrer ‘Drishyam’ got a fantastic opening. First day shows are sold out and the exhibitors are exuberant, as the demand for multiplex and single screens show tickets worldwide are unprecedented.

“Drishyam is immersive,” Suresh Babu the jubiliant producer who is in all smiles said. “The crowd interacted with the film when we did the preview and we were quite confident that it will strike a great opening note. It was like we were all literally taken to a whole new story telling world. Everybody reacted in the same way. It was an emotional and a moment of joy for all of us.”

Produced by Suresh Productions and Rajkumar Theatres, the movie kicked off its campaign for its unique genre never tried before by the Telugu film industry. The huge buzz the movie’s family-thrill experience resulted in a grand opening Suresh Babu said.

​Suresh Babu said wholesome entertainment factor will be a big reason enough for crowds to keep coming back to theatres. It is also a treat for Venkatesh and Meena fans with a never  ​ ​seen before performance. Suresh Babu adds “If you like it tell others. It will motivate film makers like us to charter into new genres with confidently”.

Drishyam is a story of a simple family loving video cable operator whose life suddenly takes a frightening twist with his family involved in a do or die situation. How he musters courage and binds his family to follow his conviction forms the crux of the story.

It promises a nail biting entertainment journey to the audience and will keep every audience in the theater, young, adults and older glued to the screen till the end.
