Hectic efforts on to persuade LK Advani to accept Modi as BJP’ Prime ministerial candidate as Rajnath Singh said Advani and Modi will soon share the dias at an upcoming public meeting.

Amid reports of hectic efforts by Senior Party leaders to persuade Party Patriarch LK Advani to accept Narendra Modi as BJP’s Prime Ministerial Candidate, Party President Rajnath Singh today said that Advani is the most respected leader of the Party and that Advani and Modi will soon share dias at a public meeting.

Earlier in the day senior party leaders cointinued to persuade Advani on Modi issue.

Chief among those who met Advani included Sushma Swaraj and Ananta Kumar, both considered close to the senior leader.
