It is another matter how I got my hands on this wonderful book by an unnoticed yet unconventional and a ‘real’ author Rohit Gore the book surely made me laugh, think and ponder at the same time. The flow is smooth, story is binding and yes the way the plot progresses it gets you drawn into it just like a thriller but remember it is NOT a thriller but a romantic mix of elements like thrill, love and destiny. You just expect just another story of love and dates when picking up a copy of an Indian author who is just out of college (read engineering and MBA). Not with this one. It has the capability to blow off your mind with the wit and sarcasm hidden between the lines, the clear and avid sketching of characters and most importantly the way things sometimes are left open ended for you to decide.

Revolving around a Mumbai guy Sameer Sathe who runs a bookshop his uncle bequeathed to him struggling with injuries and accidents every year, this book delves deeper into the unknown and little unnoticed things which ultimately shape us and our destiny. Being advised by a soothsayer that the next accident would be his last, he sets out on the quest to find all the seven girls that he had in his life and to get the new lease of life by one of them who holds the key to his life. The story moves with a constant fast pace but steadily enough that you notice the wit of the author with every passing line.

Not much left to say about it now except for the fact that its ‘one of the best’ I have ever read and the one which totally over-performs on your expectations. Don’t wait for any soothsayer to come and recommend you the book. Mark my word it is a marvel and discover it for yourself.
