  • FORE SoM Convocation 2011: 177 PGDM students awarded Diploma

    The 18th Annual Convocation of FORE School of Management, New Delhi was organized in FORE School of Management, Delhi where, 177 students of PGDM programme (18th Batch), 60 students of the PGDM (International Business) programme (3rd Batch) and 57 students of the PGDM (Working Managers) programme (17th Batch) received their diplomas at the ceremony.

    Mr. Sam Pitroda, Advisor to the Prime Minister of India on Public Information Infrastructure and Innovations, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest emphasizing on innovation and the fact that India’s growth is driven by innovation. The Board of Directors of FORE welcomed the guests to the 18th Annual Convocation and announced the information that over 99% students have been offered placements during the current year’s campus placement.

    Mr. R.C. Sharma, President, FORE, while showering his blessings on the students, advised them on the importance of ethics in their personal and professional life. He gave them a choice of leading a happy and enjoyable life vs. a deceptive and stressful life.

    Dr. Jitendra K. Das, Director, FORE, presented the activity report card for the institute for the year 2010-11. Apart from dwelling on the research output by the faculty and the laurels earned by FORE students at various forums, he emphasized on how FORE was entering a new phase of growth by going international. He informed about the various MOUs which FORE has signed with international universities and the future plans of making FORE a multi-campus institute of high repute.

    The convocation ended with the students high on excitement and charged with the confidence of excelling for themselves and the country in their field of choice.
