  • FunFoods ‘wraps’ Mumbai with a ‘spoonful’ of delectable spreads

    Dr. Oetker, a leading purveyor of western cuisine in India, today launched its first ever advertising campaign for their brand FunFoods and announced Bollywood actress & Celebrity Master Mom, Sonali Bendre as the brand ambassador. With the launch of its ‘Food Mein Daalo Magic’ campaign, FunFoods Mr.-Oliver-Mirza,-MD-&-CEO,reinforces its commitment to offer consumers the best products in the western sauces and spreads category.

    To celebrate yet another milestone in its India success story, FunFoods organized a Masterclass at Hoppipola, along with Sonali where the western food magic was brought alive with delectable FunFoods sauces and spreads. Guests from Mumbai experienced the charm of Western gastronomy as Sonali and Oliver Mirza, Managing Director & CEO Dr. Oetker India, transformed ordinary food into scrumptious dishes with a western twist. The Masterclass took food enthusiasts on an experiential journey to discover FunFoods Mayonnaise as the secret ingredient to add magic in various dishes both western and Indian.

    Speaking at the FunFoods Masterclass, Sonali Bendre said, “I feel elated to be part of the Dr. Oetker family as I am a regular user of FunFoods Mayonnaise and their other sauces & spreads. While I have always been passionate about cooking, I discovered a new passion to experiment with food on the set while shooting for the ad films.     Talking about the Masterclass Sonali added, “Today’s Masterclass was truly the most creative way to engage with the audience and induct them into the FunFoods world of sauces and spreads. I will try these recipes for my family very soon.”

    The Masterclass began with Sonali discussing her kitchen woes with Oliver where she struggles each day to keep her son motivated to eat at home. Oliver then showed Sonali how to give her regular dishes a makeover using FunFoods sauces & spreads, thereby making the boring dishes more appealing for her family. The highpoint of the evening was Sonali’s transformation from a ‘mom’ to a ‘master-mom’ as she cooked, ‘Rotiliano’ and ‘Sandwicheto’, using FunFoods Veg and Tandoori Mayonnaise.  Sonali then opened the floor to the audience, allowing them to experiment and create their own version of delicious western dishes – thereby bringing to life FunFoods’ proposition of ‘Food Mein Daalo Magic’.

    The TV commercial will be released across India on 18th December 2015, featuring Sonali’s journey from being a ‘mom’ to a ‘master-mom’!
