There is nobody who thought about it before. Or we dont know the reason why nobody thought of “gifting plants’ before. We want to take it seriously says Puli Ashwini Reddy, another partner of Plant Life. We are even planning to start an online nursery very soon, she informed.

Flowers and plants convey emotions. Though this practice is in vogue  in west by giving Bonsai as a Gift, it is not found  here  in India say Ashwini Reddy.

Satya and Ashwini were puzzled when everything was available online, but wondered why there was no such thing as  giftinging a plant online.  This struck us a week days back. And we started a company–Plant Life. Contacted nearly 200 people visited about 50 of them. Whomsoever we have visited, for our surprise we got overwhelming response.  We got our first order, which we have executed today. We have supplied 150 plants  to a Dr. Srivalli Jayanthi, Endocrinologist. She wanted to gift plants to guests on the occasion of her daughter Srujathi Jayanthi’s Dance Aarangetram held recently in Telugu University.

What we have supplied here was indoor and  outdoor plants, flowering plants which include Naronib, Billacrottons, Caronimum, Zerbera, Chrysanthimum.  These plants were the choice of the Doctor inform Satya and Ashiwni who are the most happiest today as they realised massive order in the very first week of starting Plant Life.

We can supply 80 varieties of plants. These include Indoor, Outdoor, Creepers, Flowering, Decorative, Bonsai and many other varieties.

Today we are just two. But, the way the response is we would like to add more people. And also add more plants to our portfolio says Satya

We want to inculcate the culture of gifting plants on on every important occasion of the life..  Birth Day, Wedding Anniversary, Graduation Day, Founders Day. House Warming, Get Well Soon, Social Visits, Farewell, Reception. We want people to gift plants, plant saplings on these occasions. We would like to see the day where people very proudly post on Facebook the photographs of gifting plants.

For us it is a social entrepreneurship. Till now we have been working. But, we want to take Gifting of Plants as our business and we want to take it very seriously. It gives us  lot of satisfaction say Satya and Ashwini both in mid twenties.  We want to make career out of this hobby now.

Dr. Srivalli Jayanthy’ has really encouraged us.  It is a good idea, she said and placed the order readily. We have executed the order in three days.  Now we have got another order from Mr. Srinivas Munnangi, who works with a MNC Pharma Company.  We will be supplying him 60 plants of Narrownib, Tablefarm and Aralia on 11th January at Vishakhapatnam
