  • GoAir said that it is extending the “Protect Your PNR” scheme till 30th April 2020 in order to support its passengers during these trying times. “GoAir understands the hardships that our customers are going through right now and we believe that they need our immediate support to overcome the travel dilemma they might be facing. We reckon that it is possible that our customers would still need some more time to firm up their travel plans. Thus, GoAir is extending the industry’s most generous ‘Protect Your PNR’ scheme till 30th April 2020 wherein customers are eligible to reschedule their flight for the next one year, i.e. until 30th April 2021. This is truly providing peace of mind for one full year,” said GoAir Spokesperson.

In the view of the COVID-19 outbreak, we have been carrying out the enhanced cleaning procedures since the first week of March to ensure the  health and safety of our customers and employees. We are using the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) approved, hospital-grade disinfectant for deep cleaning the aircraft, i.e. in the cabin, on elements in the flight deck, and in the lavatory. Each GoAir aircraft is equipped with a HEPA (High Efficiency Particulate Air) filter, which filters out recirculated air on-board each plane to remove airborne particles. HEPA filters are also used in hospitals to provide patients with clean air wherein they extract more than 99.999% of even the tiniest viruses, including COVID-19. Also at airports, we have been regularly disinfecting the check-in kiosks, gate areas, check-in counters and ticketing counters.

In addition to the above, we have also tried to put our customers at ease by offering them a waiver on change fees so that they can be confident about booking their travel today while maintaining full flexibility in the future. We have implemented the industry’s most generous customer rescheduling policy – Protect Your PNR – and provided a complete peace of mind.  The following parameters will be applicable:
