Guwahati : Assam girl a brilliant tone from Dipamoni Deka achieved three Gold in North East Masters Athletics Championship held at Sarusaajai Stadium here from March 24 to 28. The Championships hosted by Masters Athletic Association of North East (MAANE). The event was conducted by Masters Athletics Federation of India. Dipamoni achieved the Gold in 400 meter, 800 meter and 1500 meter race for 40 above group. Hailing from Mangaldoi in Darrang district of Assam, Dipamoni has already achieved Gold, silver and Bronze in several national tournaments in December last year. Dipamoni has also qualified for the ASEAB masters athletics to be held at Malaysia from December 2 to 6. Malaysia Kuching will now focus on preparing to hold the 21st Asia Masters Athletics Championships (AMAC) from Dec 2-6.
