  • India Have Made A Clean Sweep In The Two Test Cricket

    India have made a clean sweep of the two test Cricket series against Australia. They beat the visitors in the second test at Bangalore on Wednesday by 7 wickets. The home side had already won the first test at Mohali. Australia resumed their second innings on Wednesday at 202 for 7 and were bundled out for 223. Chasing a victory target of 207 runs on a deteriorating track, India lost opener Virender Sehwag 7 cheaply, but debutante Pujara 72 and Murli Vijay 37 held the fort admirably by sharing 72 runs for the second wicket. Sachin Tendulker then added a half century to his first innings double ton with India easily sailing through. They scored 207 runs losing three wickets in the second knock. Tendulkar, who remained not out for 53, was named man of the match and series.

    Australia: 478 and 223

    India : 495 and 207 for three.
