    Published on October 31, 2010

The Indian trio of Jeev Milkha Singh, SSP Chowrasia and Shiv Kapur managed to make the cut despite failing to break par in the second round of the Andalucia Valderrama Masters golf tournament at Sotogrande in Spain.

Jeev returned an even-par 71 to be the highest-placed among the three at tied sixth with a total of one-under 141.

    Chowrasia carded a two-over 73 for a share of the 24th spot with a total of 144.

Kapur, who was overnight tied fourth, had the biggest slump among the three, turning in a seven-over 78 to lay at the bottom of the heap at tied 47th with an overall tally of five-over 147.

While Jeev managed four birdies against an equal number of bogeys, Chowrasia dropped four strokes and gained two.

Kapur, on the other hand, had an eventful day as he stumbled to eight bogeys and a double bogey against just three birdies at the Club de Golf Valderrama.

At the top of the leaderboard, Graeme McDowell (67) took a two-stroke lead with a total of seven-under 135. Gareth Maybin (68) held the second position.
