  • IntervalZero Receives 2010 Windows Embedded ‘Awards of Excellence’ in North America and EMEA

    United States :IntervalZero, the leader in Soft-Control Architectures, received a 2010 Award of Excellence at both the Windows Embedded North America Partner Conference in Bellevue, WA and the Windows Embedded EMEA Channel and Partner Summit in Prague.

    The Windows Embedded Standard operating system and IntervalZero’s symmetric-multiprocessing-enabled RTX 2009 real-time software are key components in Soft-Control Architectures that are driving OEM innovation in the Industrial Automation, Digital Media, Medical Systems and Test and Measurement markets.

    IntervalZero CEO Jeffrey Hibbard said, “Strengthening our partnership and our relationship with Microsoft is a top priority every year. Our RTX software depends on the Windows operating system, and our success is linked to Microsoft’s success in our target markets. To be recognized as a significant contributor to the overall health of the Microsoft ecosystem again this year means a great deal to our Team.”

    In North America IntervalZero was singled out for its strong and continuous contributions to the Windows Embedded ecosystem. The company received the Integrated Solution Award, which recognizes the most impactful embedded technology solution in the medical vertical scenario. Particular attention was called to IntervalZero’s leadership in assisting Microsoft in its development of messaging and strategies for a 2011 push in the Medical Systems market.

    “IntervalZero’s proven track record of excellence in the medical vertical reflects highly on the company and Microsoft is proud to recognize them for the 2010 Award of Excellence,” said Valerie Olague, senior partner marketing manager for Microsoft Windows Embedded. “We are pleased of our longstanding relationship with IntervalZero and look forward to helping them produce critical healthcare solutions through accelerated time to market, along with the toolsets that span across a portfolio of operating systems and provide the confidence and efficiency today’s customers warrant.”

    In EMEA, IntervalZero won the Windows Embedded Innovation Award for the best use of embedded technology to solve a business problem.

    IntervalZero was cited for innovation in digital media systems for a solution at UK-based Solid State Logic (SSL), which designs and manufactures audio mixing consoles and digital post production systems for the music, video, film and broadcast industries.

    This is the second straight year that IntervalZero, a Windows Embedded Gold Partner, won top awards from Windows Embedded. In 2009 the company was Microsoft Embedded Independent Software Vendor of the Year in both EMEA and North America.

    IntervalZero Inc. is based in Waltham, MA and has sales and marketing offices in EMEA. Its real-time software products are sold world-wide.
