  • KEPL teams to participate in “International Convention on Quality Convention Circle”, Korea

    Pune: KEPL continues to prove its mantle in quality engineering by bagging numerous awards and rewards at the Quality Circle Forum of India (QCFI). In yet another milestone, KEPL, has been recommended by QCFI to participate at the “International Teams-Receiving-the-award-aConvention on Quality Convention Circle (ICQCC), 2015”, to be held in October 2015 in Korea.

    ICQCC is an annual convention organised by Asian countries and it showcases the best international teams (called Quality Circles) by engaging them in a competition that is assessed by a team of experienced jury. The jury comprises of corporates that cater to varied Industries.

    S.S Katare, Plant Head, KEPL said: “The National forum was a platform for knowledge sharing, interaction and ideas on Quality Concepts. KEPL Teams rewarded with “Excellence” and “Par Excellence” have received the recommendation for participation at an International event in Korea. We are proud to have robust quality system and standard”.

    Established in 1982, QCFI is a non-profit, non-political and national professional body that has successfully implemented Quality concepts under the Total Quality Management umbrella across several industry verticals. Under QCFI, Indian industry has experienced a phenomenal enhancement of its work processes and productivity. QCFI represents India in the 13 nation International Committee that has been set up for organizing International conventions on Quality Concept Circle, annually.
