Book focuses on recognizing, understanding, and protecting against cybercrime

MEDFIELD and MEDWAY, MA: Konrad Martin, president and CEO of Tech Advisors, a leading technology solution provider for small to mid-sized businesses, founded by CPAs, today announced the publication of his new book, Hacked!  How to Protect Your Business from the Fines, Lawsuits, Customer Loss & PR Nightmare Resulting from Data Breach and Cybercrime.

Written in easy-to-understand language, Hacked! helps business owners of all size better recognize and appreciate the potential severity of cybercrime. Case studies are provided to demonstrate the potential havoc caused by hackers, and a wide range of strategies are offered to better protect a business from falling victim to cybercrime. Questions to ask potential partners in cybersecurity protection are also included, as are definitions to common technology terms.

Martin, a Medway resident, founded Tech Advisors in 2002 with his twin brother, Kevin, who serves as  Chief Technology Officer.  Martin has authored articles on cybersecurity for a number of regional and national magazines. A former CPA, he serves as a trusted advisor to the Massachusetts Society of CPAs and wrote the WISP (Written Information Security Plan) for their organization and its thousands of members.  This is his first book.
