Kopran ltd. Forays into FMCG category with sparkle Toothpaste

Kopran Ltd., a BSE & NSE listed company of Parijat Group through its newly formed consumer division has forayed into the FMCG 
category with SPARKLE family toothpaste, which is a quality product. A very unique and innovative scheme “World’s Best Offer” has been worked out for SPARKLE family toothpaste by offering a free Disney DVD worth Rs. 399 with every SPARKLE family toothpaste of 200 gm.
Kopran is synonymous with quality products and the family toothpaste comes in with the irresistible offer targeting the kids. It is attractively priced at Rs. 79 for a 200 gm pack. Having rights to more than 500 titles of Disney DVDs, SPARKLE encourages the kids to create a library of DVDs of their own.
Kopran has successfully launched Smyle brand and had more than 15 products in its portfolio. Now, with the backing of above experience, the company has a vision to make SPARKLE a household name, starting in the oral care segment. By the end of FY 2013-14, the company plans to launch more than 6 new products.
The next offering will be of SPARKLE family toothpaste 30 gm with additional 10% free, ie. 33gms followed by 100 gm SPARKLE family toothpaste with one toothbrush absolutely free. SPARKLE will soon launch a superior toothbrush and enter the deodorant category as well.
15 new products are lined up for launch by December 2014.
According to Mr. Adarsh Somani promoter of Kopran Ltd., the overall toothpaste market is pegged at approximately Rs. 5900 crore and growth rate is 12% per annum. The shift from generic toothpastes to special need pastes is a futuristic move in the direction of growth.
