  • Leeds Met outplay in six-a-side football match, emerge champions

    Bhopal: JICM organized a football tournament for bringing out champions out of all.

    Players of JICM and Leeds met India clashed in a friendly football match showing their skills infront of all the students and football fanatics.

    The tournament was played between JICM and Leeds Met India. There were 2 girls teams-Black Cats and Unpredictable, which-participated, wherein Black Cats registered an empathic win over their opponent with 2-0 goals.

    Total of eight teams took part in the tournament. The four teams, which qualified for the semifinal round, were the Trikies, the Mighties, The Golden Boots and The Stones. The final in Boys category was played between The trickies and the Mighties, wherein The Mighties registered 3-2 win to lift the winner title of a tournament.

    Dr.Manish Verma, director JICM gave the trophies to winners. Apart from Director Leeds Met India, faculty members and students from both the institutions were present during the match.

    The members of winning team of Boys category- The Mightles(Leeds Met India)- Vivek luthiel, Kiritresh Thapa, Anirudh Thomas, Prasad Arulwar, AmitJepal, Juned Mohd and Anupam Raawat. The members of winner team of girls – The Black Cats (JICM,Bhopal)- Monika Singh, Parul PARIHAr, Naina Mahajan, Shivani Goswani, Shruti khatri, Tanya Gupta.
