Purandeshwari today for his immense contribution towards higher education sector. Young EDGE Award was constituted by Edge Forum with the notion of recognizing the emerging young leaders in education who have made significant impact in the higher education sector.

    EDGE Forum is a group of leading educational institutions from public and private sector committed to promoting highest standards of education, value systems and governance in the field of higher education. ‘Shaping The Future Of Indian Higher Education’ has been chosen as a theme for EDGE 2011 Conference

    Madan Padaki, CEO, MeritTrac has been chosen for Young EDGE Award 2011 for his commitment to support higher education by co-founding MeritTrac that is making tremendous impact in the areas of online examination, skill assessment, placements and entrance examinations and towards his efforts in bringing out very effective technological solutions to support higher education.

    Speaking on the occasion, Mr.Madan Padaki said, “I feel honoured that a forum of this stature has recognized the pioneering work that we have done in the assessment system of education sector. MeritTrac will strive to contribute to the education sector in India in its efforts to be seen on par with other developed countries. This award is not just a recognition of the journey that we had over the last 10 years, but a reminder that we have to continuously breach our own limitations over the next many decades…this definitely places an onerous responsibility on me – which I am really looking forward to grab and prove myself to be worthy of this award going forward as well.”

    Started in year 2000, MeritTrac has delivered over 10 million assessments and has been at the forefront of innovation and pioneered several firsts in the assessments spaces in India – be it conducting online entrance exams for entities like Manipal University, IIIT Bangalore and several other leading educational institutions . MeritTrac was also a part of a team that delivered CAT 2010.
