3) Halal Love Story – This charming film about love and faith is one of a kind because besides being entertaining , it also gives you an insight into a community and their way of living. This comedy drama was directed by Zakariya Mohammed featuring an ensemble cast including Indrajith Sukumaran, Joju George, Sharaf U Dheen, Grace Antony in lead roles along with Parvathy Thiruvothu and Soubin Shahir in cameos. The film entails a group of aspiring film-makers set out to make a feature film. However, they face challenges as the movie must conform to the halal guidelines of their religious organisation.
4) Trance – This Fahadh Faasil starrer psychological drama film is visually gripping. Directed by Directed and produced by Anwar Rasheed and written by Vincent Vadakkan. It features Fahadh Faasil in the lead role, while Dileesh Pothan, Gautham Menon, Chemban Vinod Jose, Nazriya Nazim, Soubin Shahir, and Vinayakan play supporting roles. The film is about Viju, a motivational speaker, who is hired to be the face of a religious scam for which he undergoes rigorous training.
