Mumbai: Mr. Samrat Mukherjee & Mr. Sai Karthik from Kotak Mahindra Bank and Mr. Kushan Patel & Mr. Maghashyam Shirodkar from Social Udaan won the Zonal Finals of Tata Crucible Corporate Quiz 2016 held at Mumbai (Zone 3). These winners

will now compete in the national finals to be held in Mumbai next month. The Zone 3 finale of Tata Crucible Corporate Quiz was a remarkable display of determination and intelligent quizzing. Regional winners from over 187 teams, represented by Mr. Rajiv Rai & Mr. Anil Kothuri from Edelweiss, Mr. Sidharth Srinivasan & Mr. Prashant Nagpal from Tata Unistore, Mr. Francis Rodrigues & Mr. Vishal Subharwal from HDFC Life, Mr. Naryana Bhat & Mr. Rahul Kamble from BPCL, Mr. Sagnik Sinha & Mr. Jai Rattan Ekka from BPRL and Mr. Prithwish Datta & Mr. Viswa Kiran from Star India also competed at the Tata Crucible Corporate Quiz Zone 3 Finals this year.

 The Zone 3 Finals had some edge of the seat quizzing moments and a nail biting finish giving the audience a spectacular show of intellect and wit. The zonal winners won a prize of Rs. 75,000/-* while the runners-up received Rs. 35,000/-.

 Chief Guest Mr. Brotin Banerjee, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Tata Housing Development Company Limited gave away the prizes to the winners and runners-up of the Mumbai Zone Finals. Addressing a packed audience at the Tata Crucible Corporate Quiz 2016, Mr. Brotin Banerjee said, “We have witnessed year and again at the Tata Crucible Corporate Quiz, that India’s wisdom is just as diverse as its geography. We are perceived to be a risk averse society, yet we see participants, both young and old, stepping out of their comfort zones and making use of an opportunity to answer questions even when there is only half a chance of succeeding. The participants do this with great confidence and that is the kind of spirit this competition displays.”

 

 Emerging victorious and booking themselves a spot in the National Finals were Mr. Samrat Mukherjee & Mr. Sai Karthik from Kotak Mahindra Bank, who were declared as the winners of the Mumbai Zonal round. Runners-up were Mr. Kushan Patel & Mr. Maghashyam Shirodkar from Social Udaan. The other teams were Mr. Kartik Vyas & Ms. Gayatri Phadnis from Persistent Systems Ltd., Mr. Ashish Nalavade & Mr. Shoaib Syed from Adicent Designs (Belgavi), Mr. Rohan Harsh & Mr. Ashis Behera from UBS Pune, Mr. Rajiv Rai & Mr. Anil Kothuri from Edelweiss.
