Ajay Shetty, Managing Director, Myra Vineyards has been a wine aficionado for many years. His interest first started during his days as a banker in Hong Kong where he developed a love for wines. Living in the United States, has given him good insight to global cuisine as well as great quality wines.

Post returning to India, Ajay decided to follow his heart and passion to start Myra Vineyards in December 2011 with the objective of bringing a variety of quality wines to enthusiastic wine lovers.

The idea is to create quality wines and Ajay truly believes “Wine is all heart”. Myra Vineyards works closely with the farmers to produce the best wines as they strongly believe that the quality of wines is in the juice of the grape.

His ethos, which is central to Myra Vineyards, is to produce the best possible wines at competitive prices and deliver a rewarding experience to wine drinkers. Wines from Myra Vineyards are well crafted and created only after taking into consideration the palate of the Indian consumer. The wines are designed to be easydrinking, uncomplicated, and as a result, can be enjoyed by everyone.

As a former banker he has worked with some of the biggest multinationals including MorganStanley, Merrill Lynch and Daiwa Capital Markets. Ajay has a Bachelors Degree from Bangalore University, and completed a Masters at (NJIT) NJ, USA.

Ajay loves sports, food, spirits, travelling and enjoys biking in his spare time.
