International Women’s Day, which is also known as International Working Women’s Day, will be celebrated worldwide on Sunday, 8 March. Over the years, women across the globe have proved their excellence in every sector from politics to administration, sports to cinema and many more. To mark the contribution of the women in all the sectors Women’s Day is celebrated on 8th March every year around the globe. Women have achieved many landmarks in all over the world including our country India.

As Women’s day will be celebrated all over the world in Sunday our country is still fighting over the controversial documentary on Nirbhaya rapist.Today, women over worldwide are making their own presence and getting respect from around the globe but in our country we are still facing problems like rape, dowry, acid attacks, crime against women. In India a woman is getting raped in every 20 minutes, this is a shocking facts which we are getting in the 21st century. India is a country which is known for its culture around the world not for the crime against women.

On the eve of Women’s Day Famous criminal psychologist Anuja Kapur presents her opinion that, “India is a country where we are launching schemes like “BETI BACHAO”, “LADLI” etc etc but on the other hand we are making a rapist popular by giving him so much publicity by watching the controversial documentary on Nirbhaya Case. First we need to change the mindset of the people in our country after that we need to focus on the schmes like these. Today we must take pledge on this occasion to fight against these evils of the society and fight for the rights of the women”.
