Mumbai: Oberoi Mall, one of India’s leading retail mall, based in Mumbai has received GOLD certification in LEED by US Green Building Council (USGBC) in the Existing Building – Operations and Maintenance.

Oberoi Mall becomes the 1st mall in India and the 3rd in the world to receive this prestigious LEED Green Building award in the Existing building category, and that too in its 6th year of operations.

Commenting on the certification, Nirzar Jain – Vice-President Oberoi Mall said, “We are very proud to receive this certification from the US Green Building Council. The efforts over the last few years to minimize the environmental impact by our business has culminated in the Gold Certification. Its due to the constant efforts of our team and agency partners, which has helped us to be the first mall in India to get this certification.”
